CHPTRXV draws its name from Luke 15, often called the “Lost Chapter” of Scripture. In it, Jesus tells three parables: the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Prodigal Son. Each story paints the same picture—God relentlessly pursues what is lost, and heaven rejoices when it is found.
We believe that Chapter 15 is not just a passage of Scripture, but a mirror of our world today. People everywhere feel lost, searching for meaning and belonging. At CHPTRXV, our mission is to help them discover that in Christ they are already loved, already seen, and already worth pursuing.
CHPTRXV was born from a journey of wandering and return. Like the prodigal son, we strayed. Like the sheep, we went our own way. Like the coin, we felt overlooked and forgotten. Yet in each of these moments, God’s hand reached out, lifted us up, and welcomed us home.
That return is the heartbeat of this movement: to help the lost find Jesus, to equip the found with understanding, and to send disciples into the world carrying the same message of grace.
We live in a time when voices are loud but truth feels hidden. The ache people carry is often unnamed, but it’s real. Our calling is to meet people in that ache—whether they’re far from faith or questioning their place in it—and to remind them of the God who still searches for them.
We do this through writing, teaching, study, and missions. Every effort points back to the same truth: the God of Luke 15 still rescues, still rejoices, and still restores.
Readers have described our work as carrying “an echo of memory, something familiar yet not fully named.” We see this as the Spirit’s work, stirring hearts toward what they were made for. Our tone is humble, invitational, and rooted in the conviction that the Bible is the infallible Word of God.
Luke 15 ends with celebration—the lost son embraced, the sheep carried home, the coin restored to its place of value. That is the hope we cling to. No matter how dark the world feels, God is still writing the story, and redemption is always possible.
CHPTRXV is more than a name. It is an invitation to live out the reality of Luke 15 in your own life.
